The Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has announced important guidelines for the nationwide protests scheduled to start on August 1.

In a bid to ensure safety and order during these demonstrations, he has instructed organizers to submit their names, addresses, and detailed plans to local police departments.

This requirement aims to facilitate better communication between law enforcement and protest leaders, helping to establish designated routes and minimize the risk of violence or disruption.
