Former President Trump was giving a speech when a disturbance caused Secret Service agents to rush him off the stage. Eyewitnesses reported that Trump appeared to be shot in the right ear, with blood visible as he was being evacuated.
One spectator was killed and two others were critically injured in the shooting. The gunman, who was positioned outside the rally venue, was fatally shot by the Secret Service after firing shots towards the stage from an elevated location, possibly a nearby roof.
