FG to launch the equivalent of the NYSC program for NCE graduates. The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced an exciting new initiative aimed at National Certificate in Education (NCE) graduates.
A program equivalent to the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). This move is designed to engage NCE graduates in national service, fostering their community development and nation-building contributions.
The initiative reflects the government’s commitment to reform the NYSC, transforming it into a revenue-generating agency while enhancing participants’ employability.
As part of these reforms, the allowances provided to corps members will also be reviewed to ensure they align with current economic realities.
In response to ongoing security challenges, the government has halted the deployment of corps members to areas deemed unsafe, prioritizing their safety.
This new program for NCE graduates is expected to broaden the scope of national service, allowing more young Nigerians to make meaningful contributions to society and thereby promoting unity and development across the nation.
