In a bid to make life a bit easier for motorists and residents, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has decided to extend the operating hours of fuel stations across the country.
This move is aimed at tackling the persistent fuel shortages that have been causing long queues and significant frustration.
The NNPC’s decision to keep fuel stations open for longer hours is expected to improve the availability of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol.
For many, the sight of lengthy queues at petrol stations has become all too familiar.
By extending the hours of operation, the NNPC hopes to ensure that more people can fill up their tanks without the stress and hassle that often accompanies fuel shortages.
